Rules & Regulations
PLAYING FEES: Payments must be made on time. Managers are not obligated to "CHASE" players when payments are due. There is a waiting list of players interested tn playing. These individuals will replace players who do not submit payments on time. Late charge will be assessed if you do not contact league.
Players must be FIFTY(50) years of age by the end of the 2nd calendar year of the cureent season.
All games will be played under USA Hockey Rules.
ANY SUSPENSIONS IN THE HANDSHAKE LINE WILL BE DOUBLED.
Rosters will be frozen on February 2, 2025.
FULL SLAP SHOTS. BLUE LINE ICING.
FIGHTING: 1st offence will result in a FIVE(5) game suspension. 2nd offence will result in a lifetime suspension. NO EXCEPTIONS!
CHECKING: No checking. This will be strictly enforced. Checking that results in multiple penalties, (double minors, major, game misconducts) will result in immediate suspension, The team manages, and Head Referee, will meet to determinewaht action(s) should be taken.
TIME MANAGEMENT: GAMES MUST START ON TIME. We have three (3) hours of ice time to play two (2) games. There will be a five (5) minute warm-up. Games for the 2025-2026 SEASON will be three (3), seventeen (17) minute periods. If a team does not have six (6) players after the warm-up, the team will be assessed a delay of game penalty. There will be a one (1) minute intermission between periods. In case of a tie after regulation time, we will play a FIVE MINUTE STOP TIME OVERTIME. If neither team scores, game ends in a tie. OVERTIME WILL START IMMEDIATELY AND DO NOT SWITCH SIDES.
PLAYOFFS: Games will be three (3) seventeen (17) minute periods, with a one (1) minute intermission between periods. In the event there is a tie, there will be a Ten (10) minute overtime period, four on four with goalies switching sides. Followed by a tgree (3) man shootout.
LOCKER ROOMS: Please use only the assigned locker room. Enter and exit the locker rooms from the INSIDE THE RINK.. Players must wear l;eague issued JERSEYS AND SOCKS. These should be used in LEAGUE GAMES ONLY. Stay off the ice until the ZAMBONI is off the ice and the ZAMBONI DOORS are closed! Do not enter the ice when the Zamboni is on the ice. STAY OUT OF THE OTHER TEAMS LOCKER ROOM.
TIE BREAKERS: Will be determined in the following order::
1. MOST WINS
2. HEAD-TO-HEAD
3. TOTAL GOAL DIFFERENTIAL
4. GOALS FOR TOTAL
5. HEAD-TO-HEAD GOAL DIFFERENTIAL
6. GOALS AGAINST TOTAL
